Verkamp's store is located just east of Hopi House, at the other end of the parking lot, along the Rim Trail.
 
It is open from 8am to 8pm daily.
 
Verkamp's native American arts and gift store was established by John Verkamp Sr., in 1906... 13 years before Grand Canyon was designated as a National Park. John's son and daughter, Jack and Peggy, and Jack's son, Mike , managed the store from 1936 until the present. Today, other family members are continuing the tradition of this family owned business.
