Chevaya Falls
Cheyava Falls is the highest waterfall in the Grand Canyon but only runs when the snow is melting on the north rim and for brief periods following a major rainstorm. "Cheyava" means "intermittent" in the Hopi language.
The falls may sometimes be seen from the south rim but to visit them requires a backcountry trip of many days via the North or South Kaibab and Clear Creek trails.
