The Trans-Canyon Shuttle runs between the north and south rims once each day, in each direction, and the travel time is about 4 1/2 hours each way. This is the only means of transportation between the rims aside from walking or driving yourself.

• The shuttle leaves the north rim at 7:00 a.m. and arrives at the south rim at 11:30 a.m.

• The shuttle leaves the south rim at 1:30 p.m. and arrives back at the north rim at 6:00 p.m.

The fare is $60 per person one way, $100 round trip.
 
For groups of 8 or more the fare is $50 each.
 
For groups of 12 or more the fare is $45 each.
 
Some charters are available and the minimum charge for this service is $460. Charters are available for any group that needs a different departure time and one van which holds 12 people.
 
For children (ages 0 - 12) the fare is $45 each. Infants and toddlers must have a car seat provided by the adult passenger.
