 Indian Gardens Indian Gardens mark the half-way point of the Bright Angel Trail. The distance from Indian Gardens to the Bright Angel Trailhead on the rim or Bright Angel Campground at the Colorado River is each 4.5 miles. There is a campground here where you can spend the night, a backcountry permit is required. Indian Gardens is also a popular day-hiker destination. |
