Restricted Areas
The following areas are closed to all camping but are available for day use:
- The Basin (BSN) - North Rim
- Clear Creek (AK9) - From the Colorado River north, to the first major side canyon entering from the east
- Colorado River (BA9 and AF9) - No camping within 1/2 mile of Colorado and Little Colorado River confluence
- Deer Creek (AK9) - From Colorado River to northern end of narrows
- Dripping Springs (BM7)
- Elves Chasm (BR9) - From Colorado River to the Royal Arch
- Grandview Historic Mining District (BF5) - Horseshoe Mesa.
- Havasu Creek (BT9) - In Grand Canyon National Park.
- Long Jim Canyon (LJM)
- Manzanita (MAN)
- Matkatamiba (BT9) - Below the Redwall formation
- Page Spring (BE9) - East side of Horseshoe Mesa
- Phantom Creek (AP9) - Haunted Canyon below the Tapeats formation, Phantom Creek below the waterfall at 3600 foot contour
- Redwall Cavern (SG9) - Mile 33 on Colorado River
- Saddle Canyon (AB9) - Below the Redwall formation
- Shinumo Creek (AS9) - At Colorado River
- Thunder River (AW7 and AW8) - From drainage in Surprise Valley to confluence with Tapeats Creek
- Transept (TRA)

- Uncle Jim Point (UNJ)

- Hope Salt Mines (BA9) - Along the Colorado River. Visitation permit required from Hope Tribe
- Furnace Flats (AG9) - North side of Colorado River at mile 72
